About Essl & Associates
Founded in 2018, Essl & Associates brings hands-on construction experience and a clear, practically-minded approach to project management.
In his decade of work in the construction space, Garett encountered a persistent problem: owners and tenants felt bewildered during the course of their project. The language of construction was foreign, costs were not transparent, and projects ran past their delivery dates, resulting in lost revenue, increased cost, and wasted time. Essl & Associates significantly mitigates these risks.
Essl & Associates’ mission is to partner with clients from project start to completion, with the goal to minimize, if not eliminate delays, unforeseen costs, and confusion. Essl & Associates facilitates communication and problem solving among architects, engineers, contractors, owners, and tenants so each party’s expertise can be fully strategically utilized for the project at hand.
Garett Essl, Principal
Garett Essl founded Essl & Associates in 2018 to fill a void in the construction management space. Previous to that, he co-founded and successfully co-managed CG Northern Development, a high-end tenant finish-out general contractor, which reached $5 million in annual revenue. In his ten years of construction experience, he has gained expertise in the areas of bidding, constructibility, and people management.
Garett graduated from Texas Christian University’s Neeley School of Business in 2009 with a B.A. in Entrepreneurial Management and was president of the American Marketing Association from 2007-2009. From 2012 to 2018, he sat on the Board of Trustees for Ronald McDonald House Fort Worth, and since 2014, he has been an active member of the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate.
